Venifit is a wearable venipuncture simulator that allows training venipuncture techniques in a realistic and dynamic way. Its ergonomic design allows it to be placed on the arm of a human model or instructor, simulating an authentic clinical interaction. It includes a reflux system, Vacutainer holder compatibility and highly durable reusable components.
1. Compatible with your manikins: Our task trainer can be mounted directly onto the manikins you already use. This optimizes your existing equipment, saves space and resources, and offers students a training experience that is closer to real clinical settings.
2. Wearable simulator: It can be worn by a standardized patient, allowing students to practice in a more realistic environment with human interaction and conditions similar to real-life clinical scenarios. Ideal for high-fidelity simulations and communication-focused training.
3. Hyper-realistic tactile sensation during puncture: You can feel the change in resistance as the needle passes through the dermis and reaches the vein. A negative pressure is perceived in the dermis, followed by a “pop” and a pressure shift when the vein is accessed. The vein can be palpated realistically, and a slight collapse under finger pressure is even visible.
4. Hyper-realistic blood flow: When the intravenous catheter enters the vein, simulated blood refluxes, confirming the correct positioning of the catheter.
5. Unbeatable cost per use:
• Allows more than 2,400 punctures (tested with 21G IV catheter needle).
• The skin pad shows no perforation marks.
• The vein is highly resistant, does not get damaged or leak.
6. Variable depth levels: It includes two veins of the same diameter positioned at different depths, simulating varying levels of difficulty for palpation.
